Baitul Mukarram (Dhaka) the National Mosque Bangladesh. The structure resembles the Kaaba in Mecca
Baitul Mukarram (Bengali: বায়তুল মুকাররাম), (Arabic: بيت المكرّم; The holy house) is the national mosque of Bangladesh[1]. Located at the heart of Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, this mosque was founded in the 1960s. It has a capacity of 30,000 worshippers, making it the 10th biggest mosque in the world, however the mosque still gets overcrowded with faithful muslim worshippers. Because of this, the Bangladeshi government have decided to add extensions to the mosque.
